Default rip to a cd from VB6..

hi..
anybody know is there is a way to save a file to a cd from VB6???

a client wants to rip a backup direct to a cd..

any help will be appreciated...

I think a regular call using Microsoft File System Object will do as long as the drive is a CDRW.

I never tried it. I only know of it from an associate of mine. It makes sense when you look at XPs built in CD Burning capability, which requires nothing more than dropping the files in the CD-R drive.
