Default VB, Access and ACT Databases

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to access the database in ACT! 6.0 from Visual Basic 6, VB.Net or MS Access? ....and if so, how?

I tried their website (and contacting them!) but have not been able to find out this information.

I would need to access the database to retrieve data.

Does ACT! 6.0 have an API for something like this, and if so, how could I obtain a technical reference for the API?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Darren
