Cannot Disconnect DB

Hi, I am using FIREBIRD 2.0 as my backend database, i am importing the records to a database and then i want to close the connection and then delete the file imported. but i always get PERMISSION DENIED message whenever i want to KILL that file.

I have checked - all my connections and references to the CONNECTION object are cleared.

Any Suggestions ?
