Default use of shell_notifyicon() in VB.NET

I'm stomped!

I am trying to use the shell_notifyicon() function in VB.NET to add an icon in the system tray. I've imported VB 6 code that I know works. But the new .NET code just displays an empty area in the system tray. The icon is invisible!

Anybody has a shell_notifiyicon() VB.NET sample that works?

Hi

There is a NotifyIcon control in .nets toolbox that only requires a few properties to be set, you can also add a bit of code if you want to perform actions on the double click or deactivate events to name a few, might be easier than using VB 6 code.
