Default calendar attribute

Hi All,
VB.NET Web App with SQL Server 2000

I have calendar controls in my app for data entry.
The autopostback="True"
When the user selects a date the screen goes back to the top of the form.
Does anyone know how to keep this from happening?

Thank you,
Lee

Hi Lee,

You can try to use the SmartNavigation property of the page. This will insert some JavaScript and an iframe (if I recall correctly) that will make the page appear more as a desktop application. That is, refreshing / reloading the page looks better, and you are able to maintain the position in the page.

It does only work on IE 5.5+ browsers, so it's more suited for an Intranet application. Also, it seems to be a bit buggy at times.

Check here for more information.

Cheers,

Imar

I have a screen which has a button to call the Calendar screen by javascript (window.showModalDialog) with autopostback =true. When the user moves screen to somewhere, then selects a date, the screen goes back to the default location. I used smartNavigation=true , and when I select date, nothing happen.
Please help me to select date but still keep this screen's location
