Default multi port video card

hi me again,
im using a multi-port video card that i am trying to activate and capture from all four ports or "inputs" at the same time. The card does have 4 synstesycer (i know its spelled wrong) chips so it is possible however when i activate them throguh code:

vcx1.connected = true
vcx2.connected = true

only vcx1 is working.
vcx1 and vcx2 are two seperate ocx's that support video capturing.
If you need mroe info feel free to ask and ty for any help provided.
