Default Upgrade VB apps to VB.NET

I have a task coming up in a few weeks to begin updating some VB applications to VB.NET. I have not done this before, in fact, the vast majority of my experience has been with VB.NET and VBA.

Does anyone know of any online resources that cover this topic?
Any advice about things I should look out for?

Many thanks
