Default Is it possible to add a drilldown to a recursive h

I'm using a parent group to recursively order data but would like the report to look like a tree control thats expandable. i using an expression in the left padding to indent but wanted to have the functionality of a tree control. I 'm using example in chapter 5 of professional sql server reporting services on page 134 recursive data. any help would be appericated thanks. using sql 2000

well looks like you and I are asking very similar questions...I just noticed your post...I'll keep an eye on your post...and maybe you should keep an eye on my post...hopefully someone will answer one or the other...

I only see one question posted, so I'll handle that one.

Personally, I create a narrow column where I want the '+' & '-' toggle to render. I use that cell for the Toggle Item property of the child row.

To create the multi-layered effect, select the detail row of the table. Right click > add row. That will add another detail row. Create another grouping for that row, and drag the appropriate data field to where you want it to render. Remember to set the Hidden and Toggle Item properties. You're just doing nested groupings.
