Date= starting of the current fiscal year

Hi all
M a new bie here and currently working on the SQL Reporting Services 2005

I want to set the default value of my Parameter date to the starting date of the current fiscal year ..
if if the user is lookin for the data affter the 1st of April of a year ..the default value will be 1st April this year .... else it would be 1st April ... the previous year ...
Please guide ...
