I am having a problem with updating my reports with new versions. I have modified some of the default values and I can not see the changes until I delete and upload the new version of the report.

My problem is that we have customers that have created linked reports from our reports. Is there any way to get Reporting Services to recognize the new updates? The report definition file shows the modifications but the default values are still the old values.

We figured out a way of getting the update report parameters modified. It requires some coding, but if anyone is interested I can pass on the information.

Did you actually have to code for it? I've found that this problem usually related to an older version of the report being "stuck" in cache.

Yes, we had to code for it. We tried clearing the cache but that did not seem to work.
