Default Multivalue parameter Reporting Services 2005

I am supplying multivalue parameter at runtime using this format:
'value1','value2','etc'

but it says the parameter requires a default or user defined value for the parameter. It works fine when I am only selecting one item in the list.

How do I set the value of a multivalue parameter at runtime?

Did you ever get any resolution to the multivalue parameter? I'm having this problem in Oracle...

Try IN operator in the query and then select the multi value.
