i have a problem in installing SQL Reporting services 2000

OS - windows server 2003 standard edition

I tried to install & Register with IIS 6.0 i used command prompt to install ASP.NET aspnet_regiis -i

since its production server i do not want to install Report designer.

i believe visual studio .net 2003 is optional

but in the prerequisites it's asking for visual studio.net 2003
and ASP.NET is not registered with IIS.

in the microsoft framwork folder 3 version folders
v1.0.3705
v1.1.4322
v2.0.50727

is it because of version conflicts. current installed version .net framework 2.0

here it's not installing Report server components.

can you please help me to solve the issue.

aspnet_regiis.exe can be run for each version of .NET.

Make sure you are in the v1.1.4322 folder to install .NET for version 1.1.

I installed .NET from version folder v1.1.4322 still it's saying

that .NET is not registered with IIS or webserver.

please advice.

This issue is solved i uninstalled .NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 in the local machine and tried to install SQL Reporting Services,it installed all the server components
and intallation was successful.
later i installled .net framework 2.0 on my system.
