Default crystal report dotnet

Hi all,
I am always confuse about crystal reports dotnet, once we developed our reports in dotnet using visual studio, how can we install our application with crystal report in client machines which does not have crystal report.
Do we need to install crystal report on each client?
Do we have to purchase crystal report licence?
I dont know what are the issues, if some one deploy dotnetwindows or web application on multi user or single user environment please help.
thanks
