Default URL call of report

Hi all,

Is there a way to call an SRS2005 report with a URL so that it “clicks the View Report button for you”?

I can get it to go to the parameter page and fill in the passed param, but then the user would have to click View Report and other buttons, and that's hard.

The following url's both work, up to that point...

http://servername/ReportServer/Pages...r&CustID=12345

http://servername/reportserver?%2fFo...r&CustID=12345

Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi,

Try this:

I have a windows form application using a web browser (works quicker than ReportViewer objects I find) and use Uri's similar to the above.

You can also go into the report server settings and hide the parameter prompts from view.

Hope this helps

Andy
