hi all..

why does http://localhost:8080/<my app>/servlet/<my servlet> not work in tomcat 5 but works in tomcat 4... is there any specific reason or has tomcat stopped supporting default url for servlets

i have not used web.xml at all...

Have you checked whether you lib folder of Tomcat 5 included in classPath?
