Default accessing data from Excel

Hi,

How can I access data in Excel files with java codes to output it in readable format. My codes work well with text files but not with Excel. With Excel, it outputs charcters that look only machine-readable. Please help.

Hi

There is a difference in Text and Excel file. Excel file are formated and encripted by MS Excel to extract the content's out of an Excel file you need to parse it just like you do to get the content's out of a .doc or .pdf file. The following link will help in this
