Default Uploading Large Files to a Doc Lib

I am trying to load large graphic files to a WSS document library . I changed the maximum file size limit in the WSS admin settings to 2 GB. The file I am trying to upload is approximately 1.5 GB which is under the WSS limit. During the upload, I receive an error saying, "This page cannot be displayed".

Is there a setting the web.config file or registry that I can change to give more time for the file to upload?

Thanks

Vic

When you upload your file, the brwoser Explorer and the oledb provider are each buffering the file before transmitting it. This means that uploading a 1.5MB file will require 3MB free memory.
Try enlarging the client machine page file (in the "My Computer" advanced properties screen) so that the client machine will be able to handle the transfer.
