Document library not getting crawled

I was configuring search in my site .Created a content source ,added scope and rules but it is not crawling any document library of this site.What cud be the possible issue in this scenario.All my documents are properly checked in and I am logging as System Account and have around 20 documents which has been uploaded to the Doc libs.
