Default Use a Sticky Footer in Custom Master Page

Hello. I am creating a custom masterpage in Sharepoint 2010, and having problems putting a sticky footer. I am using Sticky Footer Solution
by Steve Hatcher using css. No matter what I do it puts the footer in the middle of the page. Does anyone have any example masterpage they can share that demonstrates how to accomplish this? Or pointers?

Many thanks!
