Default Difference between mysql and sql server 2000/2005

Hi
Can someone explain me what is the difference between mysql & sql server 2000/2005. Is mysql is the language in which we query the sql server 2000/2005 database. And if mysql is itself a database engine like sql server 2000/2005 then is their any query syntex different between mysql and SQL server 2000/2005.

Cheers

Default

There are significant and sometimes subtile differences between MySQL syntax and T-SQL (the language of SQL Server). Even so, with a good set of language references, it is possible to convert scripts from one syntax to another.
