Default SQL 2005 - SYMMETRIC KEY problem

hello there
Im going to run an sample from SQL BooksOnline about SYMMETRIC KEY creation but it gives me a error
any idea? since I know nothing about this topic at all (SYMMETRIC KEY)

Code:
CREATE SYMMETRIC KEY JanainaKey09 
    WITH ALGORITHM = AES_256
    ENCRYPTION BY CERTIFICATE Shipping04;
GO
CERTIFICATE Shipping04 has been created before

& its gives me below error

Msg 15314, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
Either no algorithm has been specified or the bitlength and the algorithm specified for the key are not
available in this installation of Windows.
