AUgustine- Every server or software package has a different usage.

Windows server is the OS.
SQL server is a Database server.
BiZ Talk supports communication between applications. Often called machine to machine communication.
there are many other software server packages..

NONE of these have anything to do with .NET...

.NET is a development language specification.

Have you read any of the WROX books on the subject?

Which books depends on which part you want to learn.

You might want to start with .NET Framework (Which is now an APRESS Book) which gives a good background of what .NET is and what .NET isn't. You can go to http://www.apress.com and search for it there.

From the WROX perspective you should look at Begininning ASP.NET 1.1 (in the language of your choice, C# or VB). You should also go to the various sites on microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com and http://msdn.microsoft.com and read about the technologies.

You seem to be very confused at the basic definitions of what is what- the best thing to do is look at microsofts site to understand each product and where it fits in the puzzle.

Sql server is using for database

Biztalk server is an integration tool. During installation of biztalk in your machine (Biztalk 2002) the biztalk itself create 4 default databases in your machine.
They are as follows
1. Interchange BTM,
helps you to keeps track of configuration details made in the messaging services in biztalk server.
2. Interchange DTA,
helps you to keeps track of messages that have been processed by biztalk server.
3. Shared Queue database,
helps you to keeps track of messages that that required for processing by biztalk server
4. Xlang database,
Used to maintain the state of Orchestration instances used by Xlang Scheduler.

all the above said db are created in Sql server alone. These information is for Biztalk 2002 not for Biz talk server 2004
