Default Upsizing to MSDE2000A from Access2000

Hi,
I'm having a problem upsizing to MSDE2000A from access. I've tried using a very simple Access database but still get the same problem -
'Table skipped' error message.
This is after installing the office 2000 service packs etc as described by microsoft.
I'm now thinking that maybe I need to set up MSDE2000A, possibly add a user with DBcreate permissions etc first? I tried that, using DbaMgr2k (3rd party admin front end for sql server2000) but still cannot seem to be able to log into MSDE2000A - except as the sa.

Very new to sql server (MSDE) - i'm also having trouble understanding NT security and SQL security. I'm running XP Pro sr2 on a home pc connected via LAN to windows 98PC. This is why I think SQL security the way to go... any comments?

Do I need to install MDAC on my PC to enable the Access upsizing wizard to work, if so which version, or will it allready be installed?

If someone could explain to me step by step how to upsize access 2000 I'd be most gratefull! Are there any pre-requisites at the SQL side... do I need to create a new user etc - or will the sa do for this?

Many thanks, Simon.

simon
