Default MSDE DISABLENETWORKPROTOCOLS

is msde always slow if u have DISABLENETWORKPROTOCOLS = 0 , i need this to be set to 0 so clients can access the server over the network...but it slows it down soooo much...anyone got any ideas how i can speed things up?

Don't use MSDE as a production database?

I don't know why the setting your describing would cause a slowdown.
