Default SQL Server data update

I am trying to set up as scheduled daily import data from a SQL Server 2000 server (master) into another SQL Server 2000, when I set up the job as run immediately and work as scheduled, it runs perfectly and didn't give any errors and shows successfully completed the job. But the data is not updated. Even it takes only 2 seconds to run the job. (Master DB is a large one), has anyone any idea as to what the problem is, thanks.

Regards

Hi,

Are you talking about SQL Server Master database (Syatem database). I am not sure what exactly you want to do. I beleive that you are talking about some user defined master database.

If so, Please tell if you r using wizard or using RClick on database and then selecting "Import data", R u creating a Job or what exactly u r doing? Please clarify your goal. Give a little case to get ur goal. Is your SQL Server Agent running? Are your SQL server services using a Domain user Account? Will like to see inside if u present a clear picture.

Gud luck.

B. Anant
