Default Viewing SQL Server Events Log(s) through .NET

There are log(s) maintained by SQL Server 2000 database for the transactions and control events of its database operations.

How can I view these log? Is there a way to view it in VS.NET (C#.NET, VB.NET etc....).What is it?

Long back I have tested a product called LogExplorer. It was useful in analysing the transactions as well as recovering data. Just check whether that would suit your need.

I am not aware of any programmatic way of analysing the SQL log file from .NET. If its normal log files (event log etc.,) we can use Log parser which comes along with IIS 6 ( i guess).
