Default how to execute the cursor for online data entries

hello,
is cursors are not useful for the online data processing?I got the problem for this. how i break the connection while using the cursors.

you got to provide us with some more details..why are you using cursor?..for what?

Hi,

I like to have the data in form of XML at client itself and then no connection required.

Not sure which frontend you are using and whats the scenario you have. If you give some more details about the number of rows to manipulate (Max ...Min..Ave rows) , it would be helpfull to get a better idea.

In one statement...Cursors are not good thing to implement unless u don't have any other option for a specific task.
