Default Help me Sql Data type !

I'm design a database has a column has ntext data type(for support Unicode) I know the ntext data type has over 1 milion character but when i insert data into it. I only insert over 500 character . Does anyone tell why ? I usually insert my content over 5,000 unicode character

which method are you using to insert the data. can you give more inputs.

FYI a row in a table can have a maximum size of 8000 Bytes.

I insert data direct into the table by open MS Enterprise Manager then open my Table and copy data in Ms Word and then past it into !
