Default Sql Server Service Doesn't Start

Hi all,
I'm using SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition and I can't start Sql Server Service after I stopped it. I tried to start it from Service Manager, Enterprise Manager, command prompt and services but all didn't work. And it doesn't return an error message. And other services on SQL Server works properly.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Which services do you mean by saying "other services on SQL server works properly"? If at all you say the starting sql server service didn't work, how can you start other services? All those are dependent services of sql server service. So that indirectly means that SQL server service was started. May be the Systray wasn't showing that up for you. And if at all the sql server service wasn't started, you should see something logged into event viewer.
