Default Select * statement when PC starts up...

Hi to all...

I would like to do a select * statement on a table
whenever my server is rebooted... automatic

Is there a way I can do it...
If so can you please help me...

I dont think there is a straight way of doing this. You will have to develop some script and put that into Startup to have it work.

I have not tried this but...

You could also look at creating a Job in SQL Server that is fired when the SQL Server Agent starts.

Yes that makes more sense infact than setting it up under OS startup, as sql server/agent services wouldn't have started yet.

But still doing that is tricky.
