Default How to compare two lat/long values

Hello Friends,

I have two tables
1) A table containing some fixed latitude and longitude values
2) Another table containing dynamic latitude and longitude values which is coming from a GPS receiver.

I have to compare the incoming lat/long values with the already present value in the table 1.

Plz suggest me some ideas as to how should I go about comparing these values

Cheers
Harish

Harish,

How is the Table with Fixed Lat/Long values related to the other table? Can you post here the
structure of the tables?
