Default Replication Errors

Most of the jobs in the replication environment have not worked since I joined the company I have managed to sort all out but one of the jobs’s refused to work. I went to the SQL Server Agent services to start it I got the following error messages: (An Error 5 (Access is Denied). Occurred while performing this service operation on the SQL Server Agent service is the publisher and Distributor the Distribution has failed). Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Just an ideea: the SQL Server Agent service is configured to run using a certain windows account. Make sure this configuration is ok (the user exists and the password is correct; or you may use the LocalSystem).
