Default Running query... Question...

Hi to all...
I created an intranet with .net that access the SQL database that re-turns info...
My question is can someone explain to me why some times when running the same query sometimes its fast and sometimes it really slow...
I have my index key on the fields being accessed...

Should I be adding something else I don't know...

Thanking you in advance...

Rino

It can depend on maby things.

1) The query may still be in the cache memory in SQL Server.
2) Many users at the same time may slow down query time.

1- Is there a way to clear the cache memory every time...

2- Too many users I can understand...
But I tested it with only one or two users...
To see if it still happened and it did...
