Default error 22528 in MS sql server enterprise mang

I get the following error when trying to access my server in MS sql 2000 eval: "error 22528: [swl-dmo] this server connection has been unexpectedly broken and connot be reconnected" I have tried a manual connect but have had no luck. Any way i can fix this?

Please be more specific. I think you may need to re-create the connection.
Delete the current connection under servers, and add it as a new server connection. An SQLDMO setting may be missing. It may be looking for a previous id that disconnected. This happened to me when a server was re-named.
