Default Database connnection fails often

Hi,

The application that is developed using VB, seems to report disconnection to database (sql server 2000) very often. It is supposed to retry and the same is connected during retries. I dont really understand why it happens, as the connection it to the LOCALHOST and not to a remote database. The same application works fine on another machine, with same setup.

Are there any pointers to it? Please let me know here.

Thanks,
