I am connecting inconsistently to my SQL Server 2K5 running on the server on our domain.
I have run the Surface Area Configuration and enabled TCP/IP and named pipes.
I have changed the connection timeouts, as well.
I still get error 26. It is not consistent - my system administrator and I are going crazy (and it wasn't a long trip for either of us.:))
Does any one have any ideas? I think I've searched google, msdn, ask.com, etc. I'm not coming up with any new ideas that we haven't already tried.
The server is at 9.0.3054. I believe I am current with all updates.
