Default Invoking ORACLE function

Hi,
  I created a ORACLE function and need to execute from SQL Server 2005. We created a Link server and executing the following query.

SELECT <LinkServerName>.<Owner>.<FunctionName>()

Could any one help me?

Did you forget the database name there?
SELECT <LinkServerName>.<DBNAME>.<Owner>.<FunctionName> ()

And, it MUST be in all caps. But, the real key is, why are you trying to execute a foreign object? Why can't you recreate that function on SQL Server so you don't have to go out on a wing and a prayer?

How I can call an oracle function returning TABLE TYPE from SQL SERVER 2000 stored procedure?
