Can I import a Microsoft Access database into SQL Server?

Yes, right click on a database, select all tasks, data import. The ability to select an Access Datasource is one of the options.

I'm sorry. Misunderstanding on my part.

I'm using Server Management Studio Express.

Right click on a database --> Tasks --> Import Data --> follow the on-screen wizard.

Actually the solution was using the upsizing wizard in Microsoft Access.

The database was exported directly to SQL Server.
