Default Unable to create database.

Hi

When I tried to create a database for first time it gives error that "You do not have previledge to create database on 'master'", since I have a blank SQL Server 2005 (no objects other than system objects) i don't have any other groud to work. Please advice

You must check your user role and permission, this indicates that you don not have the necessary database credentials and and are not granted those privileges.

But how...? since this is my first database, do we need any other seetings tobe done before creating user database?

can you tell me what option you choose while installing SQL Server. now you are using Authentication or you are using sa aith password.

I am using windows authentication, and I log at Administrator.

I have operating sys as Windows Vista Home Premium,
in this os by default Administratinve login will not grant me Admin rights in SQL Server 2005, so I have to create an administrator from configuration management studio, but ouver here, when I click on Add Administrator link, I couldn't see any window actualy nothing is happening there, its confusing.
