Default sysindexes

Hi,

In sysindexes, what is the max value of indid column it can hold.
It has both clustered and non-clustered index.

0-> No index defined
1->clustered index
1> -> Non clustered index.

In the BOL, it is mentioned that anything > 1 is nonclustered index.
But would like to know the max value the indid column can hold. Is it 255 for both clustered and non-clustered index?

Thanks,
Chandra

1 = Clustered index
>1 = Nonclustered
255 = Entry for tables that have text or image data

Max value is 255 (TinyInt column)

Only non-clustered indexes are included as 2 thru 254.

Tables that have more than 1 text/image column. See the last 2 paragraphs of the following link for the "Microsoft" explanation...
