Default Date Inversion

I'm having a problem with a SQL Server 2000 and a ASP application, details:

When SQL saves the record that comes from a ASP (version 3) page, the birth date is in DD/MM/YYYY format is changed to the format YYYY/DD/MM while should be YYYY/MM/DD. It's changing de day and the month of the date.
I don't if could be the version of MDAC, SQL Server or even Windows.
I've tried to use Session.LCID=1046 in Global.asa an other .ASP files, but it did not work.
If anybody can help me please do it.

Thanks.
