Default ActiveX script

I am currently exporting a SQLserver VIEW to a fixed-width textfile.
Now I need to create a script that will insert a line of text into the first line of the text file. Something like "sometext todaysdate".
Anyone know how to accomplish this? I am stumped.

Thanks in advance.
