Default GUYS I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Dear Sirs,

I have two tables:
1. Ticker symbol, Company name, Address, State, Zip, Phone, Employees
2. Ticker Symbol, Date (July, August), Closing Price, Open Price

So I need to write an SQL query to show the name of the company whose price changed most during the month of July and whose headquarters are in New York. (Hint: Use the difference between the opening price in the first week of July and the closing price in the last week of July.) Open and Closing prices are given weekly during July and August 2006
I have no idea how to do it, I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Are you storing each transaction in a table and storing those values?
