I really need to do some distributed computing in VB6 and if anyone knows please tell me how to configure an ActiveX EXE to be made available from a remote matchine using DCOM. My Client is WinXP or Win 98 and the server is Win2000.
there are two ways. first, using dcomcnfg change the property of your activex to run on a separete computer. second, use CreateObject(myservername, remotecomputername)
