I do not see nothing wrong in the original code! Because there was not error handling, the method will failed on the Execute statement (but andris said that it worked fine, so the sql string mu be correct.) and it will be the caller respondibility to catch the error. I do not see why an extra boolean is needed...

I tried all possible variants and even variant with ADODB.Command and it still doesn't work. It seems to me that there is some kind of limitation of VB, so I wouldn't be able to pass connection anyway. Probably I will try to find other solutions.
But if you have any other ideas, I am ready to listen.
