Animation Control in VB6

Hi friends,:)
Can anyone help me to use animationcontrol in vb6?
I placed the control and wrote code to open it.
animation.open("c:\move.avi")
but it gave error unable to open.
why is it so?I actually wanted to run some animated gifs.
If anyone knows pls help
