Hello Friends,

Recently I developed one module of Library Management Software, I have used Visual Basic 6, and developed under Windows XP

Then I create setup using Visual Basic Tools.

When I try to install this on 98 it gives alert of Overwrite existing file.

So which setup software I have to use for this problem

Please guide me

Dear Patel!
Package and deployment wizard has lot of issues regarding creating a proper installation packages.I too had this problem..Make sure u include
oldest version on OLEAUT32.DLL file in your package. As this file will be in use in your target system , if u try to overwrite it will try to do reboot, but will fail to correct the problem.Nowadays i am using installshield for my setup/package. It is very easy to use and creates no problem to the least,Best of luck!

Yes i found the same problem of restarting.

i found 1 suggestion to use setup factory soft to create installation disk
