Default Winsock Problem when server run behind the router

Hi All,

I'm trying to make a FTP for transfering a file to client and server. My server application run behind the router so when client send a request, router declined it..My application runs perfectly on LAN or WAN or any internet where firewall or proxy or router is not there but it doesnot work if any router is installed in between. if any body has solutions then let me know.
