Default Opening unknown table names

I'm trying to access all tables in a database where I don't know the table names before hand. I've tried "SELECT * FROM * " but get a FROM clause error. Does anyone know how I can do this?

hi there..

that can be accomplish depending the type of connection you are using..

dao has a tables collection
ado has a adox catalog that you can open and see all the tables...
