i have already downloaded the framework v1.1 but the application is still not executable in a LAN. - some security errors occured, while i do not have this problem with other pc using win 2k. So what can i do to change the security for this particular pc?

i dont get it.. you want to execute and .exe in another pc ??? or you are accesing another pc from your exe???

Hmm,

thanks for your concern gbianchi, i think i have found another way to solve this - install win 2k rather than win98. It seems that it is very difficult for a win98 pc to run the vb application resided in a network as i don't know how to set the trust level in a win98 pc.
